When we first began this journey, we hardly knew anything about hand-woven textiles or the magic of natural dyes. Day by day, we are still learning, growing not only as makers but also as people who are connected to the land and to those who care for it.
Our weavers have become our greatest teachers. They show us that craft is never separate from life itself.
In the rainy season, many of them return to their fields to plant rice and take care of their farms. This taught us that weaving follows the same rhythm as nature. It comes and goes with the seasons, balancing work, family, and the earth.
For us, this is not just production. It is a way of life we have learned to respect. To grow with them is to accept these rhythms, to slow down, and to honor the stories that live in every piece of fabric.
